The Broadcast Training Programme (BTP) is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be a part of the 2018 Olympic Winter Games broadcasting operation and offers students the chance to be trained to work alongside international broadcast professionals during PyeongChang 2018. As well as enhancing your skills and future career prospects, the training programme will give you practical experience of how the largest broadcasting operation in the world is being put together and explain how you can be a part of it.
Places in the training programme are offered on a first-come, first-served basis after all the entry requirements are met. Once all training positions have been filled, OBS will close the application process. Qualified applicants will be considered for each position based on the order of preference they indicate on their application form and if there is still a vacancy.
Please note that participation in each dedicated training workshop does not guarantee that you will be hired to work in that specific position during Games-time.
Students wishing to apply for a position are required to complete the online application form (available April 2017) and upload their CV and cover letter.
To take part in the BTP, applicants must be aged 18 years or over. They must be a student in good standing and enrolled in 2017 in a Korean university, have an interest in learning how to communicate through the media and have at least a basic-intermediate knowledge of English.
Only applications through the BTP online application form will be considered.
